We contracted Thompson Construction to renovate our patio and backyard. Michael and his team did a superb job! Timely, very professional, courteous, and responsive to questions before, during and after the job. We couldn't be more satisfied!

This beautiful backyard patio was designed and built by Thompson Construction & Renovation. The cedar patio is anchored with poured concrete, and has a lower level as well, so will last a long time. The built-in bench seen at the back of the first photo, has waterproof storage below. The shutters open. They built a lovely herb garden wall shown in the second photo. The team are reliable, fast, pleasant to work with, and I feel the quality was excellent.

I would not hesitate to work with Michael at Thomson Construction again. I honestly had a hard time finding someone who I thought was giving me good advice on how to approach a badly damaged aggregate walkway. Michael gave me good advice and better work! He and his team are obliging , hard working and honest. The outcome was great! See photos. Michael and his group recently fixed our driveway after the previous contractor did not acknowledge our warranty requests after a year of trying to contact them. The previous version of our driveway was poorly designed and constructed, impossible to park on the additional space, it had an inaccessible city water valve and there were concerns that the entryway to side gate crossed our property line. Michael and his group fixed it all in 4 days! We were happy with the work and communication that Michael provided. He was available all the time to answer questions, we walked through the process of fixes and design ideas, he was polite and courteous to the people at our home. His crew were efficient and treated our neighbourhood and property with respect by cleaning up everyday and making sure no other neighbours were impacted by their work. This was the complete opposite of the previous group and it makes me realize what I should be expecting from a contractor. I'd happily recommend Michael to others. We're in the process of discussing another project and we would be very happy to hire him again. Thank you Michael!

Great experience with Thompson Construction! Michael and his team completed an interlocking installation project in our backyard and driveway and the end result was beautiful. He helped us plan the perfect backyard oasis around the pool we had recently installed. He brought ideas, suggestions and his experience which really made the difference in the project execution.
